The Lourie Center, Adventist Health Care, is hiring a Head Start Bilingual Home Visitor who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Bilingual Home Visitor, you will:

* Assist with selecting, developing and preparing appropriate instructional material for the parents

* Conduct parent interviews and family needs assessments

* Conduct developmental screening and assessments

* Provide program parents with guidance on home safety, nutrition, effective discipline, constructive play activities, and other related topics

* Assist with coordinating doctor, dental visit and other community needs identified by the families, including transporting

* Maintaining individual records on children including screenings, assessments, referrals, progress reports, documentation of home visitation activities, etc

Qualifications Include:

* Associates or Bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work or related discipline preferred

* Driver's license with reliable transportation

* Must have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree

* 1+ years experience working with young children and families in the home preferred

* Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Pay Range:

$20.07 - $26.42

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
