Social Work Assistant - Adult Social Work

About the role

Are you motivated to help adults live independently and safely? Join our adult social work team as a Social Work Assistant and make a genuine difference across the Isle of Man.

In this vital role, you’ll coordinate and manage cases, undertake assessments, develop and review support plans, and maintain accurate case records. You’ll manage a review caseload, provide advice and signposting where statutory intervention isn’t required, and work closely with social workers and colleagues to ensure timely, proportionate support.

Using a strengths-based approach, you’ll focus on what matters most to each person – helping them build on their skills, relationships and community networks to maximise independence, choice and wellbeing while reducing unnecessary reliance on services.
