Children, Youth & Families Case Manager – Work from Home in Biloela (Regular Travel to Emerald)

Kanda is seeking a hands‑on, compassionate Case Manager based in Biloela
, working from home, with regular travel to our Emerald residential care services
. This is a unique opportunity to combine flexibility and autonomy with meaningful, hands‑on work that shapes the lives of young people.

Also open to applicants from Blackwater, Capella, Moura or surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver direct case management and relationship‑based support to young people
  • Lead, mentor, and support residential care staff in Emerald through supervision, coaching, and hands‑on guidance
  • Develop, review, and oversee individual care and case plans
  • Collaborate with Child Safety, schools, health services, and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, reporting, and case management standards
  • Step in on shift as needed to support your team and young people
About You
  • Experience in residential care, youth work, or child protection
  • Confident guiding staff (formal leadership is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of trauma‑informed, child‑centred practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Relevant qualification or working towards one (Cert IV, Diploma, or higher)
  • Hold or be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Comfortable working remotely and travelling regularly to Emerald
