The SSA Specialist will be responsible for performing SSA duties while also taking on the crucial task conducting assessments.

• Provide Service and Support Administrator (SSA) functions as requested by customers.
• Responsible for following county board policies, procedures, and processes to implement SSA Services.
• Conduct assessments on behalf of county board of DD customers.

Education and/or Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree is required
• 18 months of experience conducting assessments is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Developmental Disabilities sector preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Must be able to obtain a Service and Support Administration certification as defined by the standards set forth by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities rule 5123:5-02.
• Valid O hio Driver’s license with vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

• Conduct assessments on behalf of county boards of developmental disabilities.

• 18 months of experience conducting assessments (required).
• 3–5 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain SSA certification per Ohio DODD rule 5123:5-02.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
