Location:
Cumberland Valley - Rockcastle County with additional travel to McCreary and Jackson Counties
Assists the program manager with the training of caseworkers, staff meetings, and invoice coding. Provides support to caseworkers. Connects with donors for seasonal donations. Assists with program events.
Essential Job Functions- Assists the manager with initial and ongoing training of caseworkers. Completes monthly reports to include staff meeting minutes, invoice coding, and stats. (45%)
- Assists caseworkers with all program components and general casework in all program service counties. This includes but is not limited to: all aspects of seasonal components such as Christmas Baskets and School Readiness, including connecting with donors about seasonal donations;
Stepping Stones casework, including home/office visits or transporting participants when needed to get items like pantry boxes, paying fees, or traveling to other counties for services. (30%) - Assists with planning and implementing program events and networking with other agencies in direct service and neighboring counties. (25%)

QualificationsEducation
:
High School Diploma or Equivalent in General Studies. 18 months additional training in related field. Extensive related experience may substitute for education requirements and will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
Years of Experience
: 2 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience.
Required Certifications and Licensures
:
Possess a valid Kentucky Driver s License and maintain a safe driving record. CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain within first 90 days). In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident;
and $50,000 property damage per accident.
- Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk.
- Lift 50 lb from floor to waist.
- Lift 50 lb from waist to shoulder.
- Lift 25 lb from shoulder to overhead. Carry 50 lb for 25 ft.
- Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance.
- Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses.
- Have good hearing capabilities.
