Overview
Remote Patient Support Specialist / Caseworker role available to work 100% from home anywhere in Canada. Support patients to access specialty medications.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact for patients; make outbound and take inbound calls to educate patients.
- Support reimbursement and casework: facilitate completion of medical/insurance paperwork, explain prescription coverage.
- Coordinate with pharmacies, insurance companies and internal Field Case Managers; problem‑solve obstacles and manage prescription renewals.
- Triaging inquiries, using chat, documenting all interactions in CRM, managing adverse event reporting.
- Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Patient Coordinator, Patient Care Specialist, Patient Medical Coordinator, Pharma Reimbursement or Patient Caseworker within the last 7 years.
- Legally eligible to work full‑time in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Bilingualism (English/French) required for Quebec and New Brunswick.
- Tech‑savvy; experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Organizational, prioritization, proactive, adaptable skills; able to work autonomously in fast‑paced remote environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette, active listening, patient‑first mindset.
- Contract term: 6–10 week temporary contract, potential extension up to 16 weeks or 6 months, with opportunity for permanent hire.
- Pay:
Approximately $23.00–$25.50 per hour. - Remote work from anywhere in Canada;
Monday‑Friday 8 am–8 pm EST (or 9‑5 EST) schedule. - Full training and onboarding program for remote employees.
- Home office equipment provided.
