Beacon Services of Connecticut provides home-based Early Intervention specialty services. We help families throughout the state of Connecticut gain access to high quality services based upon evidence-based practices.
Our Licensed Social Workers work in an assigned region and provide support to families and the clinical team within our Birth to Three program. They participate in case management, evaluation, and direct services aimed at enhancing a family’s capacity to care for and nurture their child’s growth and development.
Qualifications- A Master's degree in social work from a four-year college or university
- Experience working with children and families; some pediatric experience required
- Current Licensure by relevant state board or agency
- Strong communication/rapport building skills to confidently support families
- Strong organizational skills to manage administrative tasks
- Self-confidence and the ability to show initiative while providing services
- The ability to work collaboratively with other clinicians as part of a team
Working in family homes and daycares – will require some travel.
Work Hours- Various session times during the workday
- Flexible
- Monday through Friday
