The salary range for this position is $54,051.21 to $91,935.37 for Schedule A, and $54,051.21 to $88,257.96 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to October 31, 2015, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after October 31, 2015, are considered Schedule B.
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to two days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high‑speed home internet access.
Probation Officer Duties Supporting the EOBS Model Core Supervision and Case Management Duties- Conduct evidence‑based assessments to identify risk, needs, and responsivity factors for individuals under supervision.
- Develop individualized case supervision plans designed to reduce recidivism and support long‑term behavioral change.
- Utilize motivational interviewing and cognitive‑behavioral strategies to encourage accountability, engagement, and positive decision‑making.
- Monitor compliance with court‑ordered conditions while balancing accountability with rehabilitation‑focused interventions.
- Maintain regular contact with clients through office visits, field visits, virtual check‑ins, and collateral contacts.
- Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive reports for court hearings, including recommendations based on evidence‑based practices and case progress.
- Document all case activities, client interactions, referrals, and compliance measures in accordance with Judiciary policies and procedures.
- Provide testimony in court proceedings when required.
- Review and verify compliance with court orders, payment obligations, treatment participation, and program attendance.
- Connect justice‑impacted individuals with community‑based resources, including employment services, education, housing assistance, behavioral health treatment, and vocational programs.
- Collaborate with treatment providers, community agencies, law enforcement, social service organizations, and court stakeholders to support successful client outcomes.
- Participate in career fairs, resource events, and reentry initiatives designed to strengthen community partnerships and improve access to services.
- Support clients in developing career readiness skills and accessing employment opportunities that promote gainful, sustainable employment and long‑term self‑sufficiency.
- Work collaboratively with Family Division, Child Support Enforcement, Criminal Division, and other Judiciary partners to address shared challenges and improve service delivery for court users.
