Pay Range: $70,304.00 – $72,104.00

The salary range for this position is $70,304 - $72,104 per annual year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences.

Aspiranet is seeking a Child and Family Facilitator in Bakersfield, California to provide leadership within our IHBS program. In this role you will coordinate, conduct and document assessments, screenings, child and family meetings, related program trainings, case plans, home visits, case documentation, reports, interventions, on-call support which facilitate successful outcomes for children, youth and families.

Position Summary

As a Child and Family Facilitator, you will coordinate and lead Child and Family Team services to ensure individualized intervention plans are effectively developed and implemented. This role remains child-centered, family-focused, culturally responsive, and strengths-based at all times.

You will provide leadership to team members while directly supporting youth with extensive trauma histories in their homes and communities. Your work will focus on improving daily functioning, strengthening family systems, and promoting long-term safety and stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments capturing identified needs and safety issues.
  • Conduct timely screenings.
  • Provide appropriate referrals and develop safety plans when indicated by assessment and/or screenings.
  • Work collaboratively to engage the Child and Family Team in the identification of strengths and needs which inform the development and implementation of service plans.
  • Facilitate the development of service plan.
  • Attend meetings related to child/youth or family’s needs and service plan.
  • Maintain contact with community professionals involved with child/youth and family to facilitate communication and coordination of services.
  • Work in collaboration with child/youth, family, family team members, community members and other collaborative partners to facilitate successful completion of service plan and to support permanency and lifelong connections.
  • Develop a professional supportive relationship with children/youth, families, referring parties, collaborative partners and community.
