** Essential Duties And Responsibilities
** Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities:* **(75%) Using established communication protocols and professional standards, assess behavioral concerns and act as a consultative resource and guide for family childcare providers in incorporating Trauma-Informed Care*** **(10%) Strengthen and support effective program implementation by collaborating with internal and external entities**
* ** Emergency Child Care Program Team*** **(10%) Serve as a Trauma-Informed Care and program subject matter expert when participating in all relevant meetings and advance expertise through trainings*** **(5%) Adhere to all legal, ethical and contractual requirements regarding child welfare, confidentiality and record keeping**
* ** CA mandated reporting laws (child, elder and dependent adult abuse/neglect)

** Job Specifications
**** Minimum Required**
* *
* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree required in related fields of early childhood education, social work, or psychology
* ** Experience****:
** Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience of working with children and families, specifically children ages birth to 5;
Knowledge of trauma informed care, health issues of foster children, appropriate practices, effective teaching strategies, regulations, Community Care Licensing requirements, and DCFS
* ** Bilingual Required**:
Ability to converse, read, write and/or translate in English and Spanish
* ** Travel:
** This position requires 25% of travel. Will consist of travel to and from agency locations, within the community and regional external clients for trainings. Staff members driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and DMV clearance required.
* ** Work Schedule**:
Full time, typically M-F, ability to at times work a non-traditional work schedule including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
