The Enotah Judicial Circuit Accountability Courts are hiring a Case Manager. This position will be available starting February 15, 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work directly under the supervision of the Court Coordinator and assist with coordinating, arranging and administering the various facets of the drug court program.
- Interact with participants and monitor program compliance and progress through weekly case management sessions with each participant.
- Provide case management services including individual treatment planning (initial and discharge) and referrals for community/ancillary services.
- Attend team staffing and court sessions weekly.
- Prepare Court reports that track participant compliance with program rules.
- Update the Case Management system daily.
- Assist the Coordinator in developing policies, procedures and guidelines for the program and assist with all reporting requirements when needed.
- Travel locally within the circuit (Union, Towns, White, and Lumpkin Counties) weekly; must have reliable transportation with insurance.
- Follow guidelines on request of grant sources.
- Maintain cohesiveness with Coordinator to Participants, Team Members and the public.
- Provide information to the Coordinator for narrative quarterly grant reports.
- Attend required trainings and webinars.
- Attend and participate in conferences, court hearings, meetings and committees as needed.
- Facilitate community presentations, promote team integrity, and develop community resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of drug court case management practices.
- Knowledge of social and psychological issues regarding substance use and addiction.
- Skill in interpersonal communications in a collaborative format.
- Skill in documenting behaviors and maintaining accurate records.
- Considerable skill in multi-tasking with efficiency and accuracy.
- Considerable skill in working independently in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, including remote work.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited University is preferred but not required; experience in the field may substitute for education.
Salary and EmploymentThis is a grant funded independent contract position. The role is contingent on fingerprints, background check, driver’s license, and proof of active auto insurance. It is a 40‑hour a week position without benefits. The position will receive a 1099 yearly; paychecks will be monthly.
