Position SummaryWorld Relief seeks a Refugee Cash Assistance Program Specialist who will be responsible for administering Refugee Cash Assistance services to eligible clients, including eligibility determination, case management, payment authorization, service coordination, and documentation. The specialist supports refugee households in achieving economic self‑sufficiency through individualized service planning, referrals, and ongoing monitoring of client progress.
This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement until September 30, 2026, and contingent upon funding extension.

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday; 3 days in the office, 2 work from home days.
- Conduct intake appointments and determine eligibility for Refugee Cash Assistance and related services in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
- Complete eligibility assessments, collect required documentation, and maintain accurate client records.
- Explain program requirements, client rights, responsibilities, and available services.
- Ensure timely enrollment and service delivery for eligible clients.
- Maintain an active caseload of RCA participants.
- Develop individualized self‑sufficiency plans that address employment, housing, healthcare, transportation, and other identified needs.
- Conduct regular client follow‑ups to monitor progress toward self‑sufficiency goals.
- Provide strengths‑based case management and crisis intervention as needed.
- Coordinate referrals to employment services, English language classes, healthcare providers, public benefits, and community resources.
- Assist clients in overcoming barriers to employment and economic stability.
- Calculate and authorize RCA payments in accordance with program guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of cash assistance requests and supporting documentation.
- Monitor client participation requirements and ongoing eligibility.
- Review client cases regularly to ensure payment accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain complete and accurate client files in Client Track and other required databases.
- Document all client interactions, assessments, referrals, and case activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client information.
- Assist with data collection, reporting requirements, and program audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, donor, and organizational regulations governing the RCA program.
