Overview
At the Larimer County Department of Human Services (DHS), we strive to be responsive and provide timely resources in partnership with our community so that individuals and families are healthy, supported, and safe. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic staff member to join our Children, Youth, and Family Division as a Collaborative Management Program (CMP) Coordinator. The CMP Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate the work of the Larimer County Collaborative Management Program, the Executive Committee, and subcommittees, and ensure that Larimer County meets the requirements for House Bill 1451.
Although this position remains housed within DHS, it is accountable to the Larimer County Interagency Oversight Group (LCIOG), the oversight group for Larimer County's CMP program. The mission of LCIOG is to promote, maintain and restore community health, safety and well‑being by partnering with families, victims and agencies to provide an integrated and efficient continuum of local services for children/youth, birth to 21.
The CMP Coordinator will drive the work of the LCIOG, resulting in improved outcomes for children, youth and families in our community.
The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid position and will require at least one day per week in the office. You will need adequate internet access and space for remote work. Larimer County provides a one‑time remote work stipend to assist with equipment and office supply needs for remote work spaces. Three professional references with valid contact information are required for submission as part of this application.
Responsibilities- Coordinating and facilitating the work of the Collaborative Management Program (CMP), Executive Committee, and subcommittees to advance shared goals and strategic priorities.
- Serving as the County's subject matter expert on House Bill 1451 (HB1451), ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and representing Larimer County at the state level.
- Building partnerships among elected officials, agency leaders, community organizations, and individuals with lived experience to support collaborative decision‑making.
- Managing program data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports, including the CMP Annual Report and other required state documentation.
- Administering funding processes, monitoring compliance with HB1451 requirements, managing program budgets, and supporting grant activities.
- Supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Larimer County Interagency Oversight Group (LCIOG), including meeting coordination, board administration, member onboarding, and records management.
- Strong relationship‑building and facilitation skills, with the ability to bring diverse stakeholders together around shared goals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executive leaders, elected officials, community partners, and individuals with lived experience.
- Experience navigating complex programs, regulations, and governance structures while balancing multiple priorities and competing interests.
- The ability to analyze information, identify trends, and translate data into meaningful recommendations and reports.
- Experience supporting budgets, funding processes, grants, or other financial and compliance‑related activities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, meetings, and deadlines simultaneously.
- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and build trust across organizations and stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of collaborative management, human services systems, or Colorado HB1451, or the ability to quickly develop expertise in these areas.
- Three (3) years experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties.
