Community Support Specialist

Description

The Community Support Specialist works one‑on‑one with individuals with disabilities providing support and coordination for activities of daily living such as community participation, hobbies, recreational activities, banking and budgeting support, vocational training, health safety and wellness, household management, and adaptive living skills. The CSP helps clients maintain independence and interact fully in the community (not a residential group home position).

• Pay range: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Mileage reimbursement
• $1,000 referral bonus
• Daily pay option
• 3 weeks of paid time off

Schedule:

Weekday hours available; every other weekend available.

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check through the MN Dept. of Human Services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable working independently without direct supervision
