We are currently seeking a Full-Time Multisystemic Therapist to join our Multisystemic Therapy Program in Onondaga County.
As a Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Clinician, you will work closely with families of teens (ages 12-17) to address challenges and promote positive outcomes. You’ll receive comprehensive training in an evidence-based model and collaborate with families, schools, and service providers to implement solutions that foster improved school attendance and performance, stronger family relationships, positive social connections, and reduced high‑risk behaviors such as running away, aggression, stealing, and substance use.
ExceptionalTraining & Support
- Receive hands‑on training and ongoing supervision from day one, built into the MST model.
- Join a supportive team dedicated to your professional and personal growth.
- Flexibility & Autonomy: enjoy a hybrid schedule, working from home when not in meetings or sessions with clients.
- A non‑traditional schedule allows more opportunities for work‑life balance.
- Sessions are held in the families' homes—no transportation or child‑care concerns.
- Sessions are offered in the evening and on weekends as needed.
- The team provides 24/7 phone support to clients as they work to change their dynamics.
- Working directly in the family’s environment builds stronger engagement and better outcomes.
- MST leverages families’ strengths to achieve rapid change.
- Serve only 4‑6 families at a time to focus on meaningful impact.
- No Medicaid restrictions—treatment and documentation driven by client needs, not insurance guidelines.
- Use a wide range of clinical skills from cognitive behavioral therapy to family systems theory.
- Partner with schools, probation officers, and other community members to create holistic solutions for families.
- Join a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Short treatment window (3‑5 months) allows you to see fast, tangible results and prevents burnout.
- A master’s degree in a mental health field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with families (community‑based work preferred).
- A valid New York driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Eligibility for loan forgiveness (our nonprofit status may qualify you).
- Generous paid time off: start after 90 days, with sick time accruing from the first month; paid holidays and two floating holidays from day one.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Remote work flexibility when not in meetings or sessions.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Paid mileage for commuting costs.
- Clinical supervision to help you work toward licensure; limited permits welcome.
Starting Rate: $60,000 annual
