About the Organization
Since 1993, The Pathfinder Network (TPN) has been supporting justice‑system impacted individuals and their families, providing tools, training and support to help them thrive. TPN serves individuals experiencing incarceration, reentering the community or on community supervision, their families and children in nine of Oregon’s eleven correctional facilities and in Multnomah, Jackson, Marion and Clackamas counties. Our programs are evidence‑based, trauma‑, gender‑ and culturally‑responsive, including the proprietary Parenting Inside Out curriculum, the highest‑rated parenting skills curriculum for parents involved with the criminal justice system.
PositionSummary
TPN is hiring a full‑time Facilitator/Coach to support the Oregon Department of Corrections in delivering cognitive‑behavioral and Parenting Inside Out programming. The role requires strong facilitation skills, empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and security protocols.
Responsibilities- Serve as content champion in cognitive‑behavioral and Parenting Inside Out programming; receive training and ongoing coaching on trauma‑informed practice.
- Plan, review and prepare materials and classroom for facilitation of classes.
- Facilitate classes and ensure program fidelity by using a standardized curriculum and delivery model.
- Substitute in classes and facilitate support groups as needed.
- Provide evaluations of participants' progress to agency and correctional staff.
- Complete and process required documentation, paperwork and reports for ODOC and The Pathfinder Network.
- Communicate with institution staff and TPN staff and managers; coordinate with the Training team for professional development.
- Contribute to the shaping and sustaining of a diverse, equitable, inclusive and just workplace, participating on cross‑departmental teams or committees.

Qualifications- Associate’s Degree
- One year of related experience
- Group facilitation skills
- Experience with nonprofits or the criminal justice system
- Experience teaching adult learners
- Intermediate computer skills (databases, web, word processing, email, spreadsheets)
- At least 21 years of age and meet DOC criteria for institution access (no misdemeanor in past 3 years or felony conviction)
- Pass criminal history background check, employment verification and drug screen (marijuana excluded)
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle with adequate insurance; meet MVR criteria
Work is performed in a secured detention or correctional setting. The role may require standing for long periods and walking in large campuses. The position is fully remote during the first month; escorted visits may occur as needed. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Compensation and BenefitsHourly wage: $23.33 – $24.03, DOE. This is a non‑exempt, full‑time position with a 40‑hour workweek.
