Incorporated in 1965, Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization committed to assisting low‑income individuals, and families, achieve self‑sufficiency through quality programs in Jefferson and Franklin Counties. We are a federal, state, and locally funded Community Action Agency.

JFCAC offers a variety of impactful programs for eligible individuals and families, from early childhood education, rental and utility assistance to home upgrades that improve energy efficiency and create safer living environments.

To carry out our mission and expand our impact, we are seeking a dedicated individual to step into a key role within our Head Start Program
- The Partnership Team Supervisor.

This is an on-site role.

As a Partnership Team Supervisor you will provide leadership and oversight for staff located within partner organizations, such as licensed daycares and preschools. You will be the primary link ensuring performance standards, program requirements, and quality expectations are consistently maintained. You will help to promote a positive environment so staff can focus on giving the children and families the same level of care, education, and family support as those in agency‑operated centers.

A Partnership Team Supervisor in Head Start is part of a larger Community Action Agency and is critical to the success of the partnership classrooms. Because these classrooms operate within independent organizations, strong leadership, communication, and oversight are essential to build a positive working relationship with staff at the Partnership sites as well as the communities they're located in.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Program Operations Coordinator, the Partnership Team Supervisor is responsible for maintaining regular and ongoing communication and support between partnership programs and JFCAC, to ensure compliance of all local, state, and federal regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervision & Staff Support:
    • Select, train, mentor, and evaluate Family Coaches
    • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and reflective supervision
    • Review and approve timesheets & mileage
    • Facilitate monthly team meetings and assign follow‑up tasks
    • Support staff skill development through on‑the‑job mentoring
  • Report and follow up on safety concerns immediately
  • Plan family events and committee meetings with partnership teams
  • Maintain professional communication across all platforms
  • Monitoring & Compliance:
    • Maintain and monitor contracts, inventories, and documentation
    • Track licensing reports to ensure compliance with Missouri state regulations
    • Support action plans, QI monitoring, and reporting systems
    • Coordinate with Program Operations Coordinator on expenditures
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field
    • Bachelor's degree with 18+ ECE credits preferred
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move easily in active environments
  • Willing to submit to Criminal Background Screenings
  • Must have a valid/active driver’s license
  • Must have reliable transportation
    • Travel to/from clients' homes
    • Travel to/from meetings/trainings throughout Jefferson and/or Franklin County
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in early childhood or social services
  • Ability to problem solve, handle crisis, and work with families and children of various cultures and low‑income backgrounds.
  • Able to maintain a calm and nurturing demeanor when working with children.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with families, agency staff, and community members.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • On‑Site position
    - This is not a work from home position.
  • Starting Pay $23.03 per hour (based on education & experience), bi‑weekly pay
  • Full‑Time, 36‑hour workweek, Benefits‑eligible
