Multisystemic Therapist

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Multisystemic Therapist to join our Multisystemic Therapy Program in Onondaga County.

You will work with families of teens (ages 12-17) to tackle tough challenges and create positive outcomes.

• Implement solutions that foster improved school attendance and performance.
• Strengthen family relationships and positive social connections.
• Reduce high-risk behaviors such as running away, aggression, stealing, and substance use.
• Receive hands‑on, evidence-based training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model from day one.
• Provide ongoing supervision and collaborate with schools, probation officers, and community partners.
• Work in a hybrid schedule, offering home‑based sessions, evenings, and weekends as needed.

• Conduct sessions in families' homes and provide 24/7 phone support during treatment.
• Serve 4–6 families simultaneously, allowing focused care without overwhelming caseload.
• Work within clients' environments to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Utilize cognitive‑behavioral therapy, family systems theory, and other evidence‑based techniques.
• Maintain a short treatment window of 3–5 months to achieve rapid, visible improvements.

• A master’s degree in a mental‑health field.
• At least two years of experience working with families (community‑based work preferred).
• A valid New York driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Licensure pursuit welcome; limited permits accepted.

Starting rate: $60,000 annual.
