The NYS Office of Children and Family Services invites applications for a DJJOY Peer Specialist. Working under the Family Engagement Specialist, you will engage youth and families through parent/caregiver support groups, connect them with community resources, and empower families to advocate for their own needs.
You will support OCFS facilities and community programs by promoting family involvement, organizing monthly meetings, and advocating for parents of youth placed in care.
