Job Overview
Answer from the comfort of your home or while running errands. Family Support Council’s crisis line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Agency is currently looking for weekday spots as well as weekend coverage. Flexible availability is mandatory.
Activities- Provide direct support and crisis intervention to callers.
- Discuss safety planning and refer to staff as needed.
- 40‑hour Victims Assistance Training (online).
- Knowledge of local resources and referrals.
- De‑escalation techniques.
- Completion of new volunteer orientation.
