There are three positions available in the Department of Children’s Services, Davidson County. The role requires a criminal background check.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree plus equivalent to two years of full‑time professional child welfare services. Alternatively, a master's degree in social work or related field plus one year of full‑time professional child welfare case work.
Preferred: experience in call centers, crisis hotlines, or related areas.
Necessary Special Qualifications- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Have good moral character, as determined by investigation.
- Complete a criminal history disclosure form approved by the appointing authority.
- Have no conviction for a felony.
- Agree to release all records involving criminal history to the appointment authority.
- Supply a fingerprint sample for a fingerprint‑based criminal history check.
- Submit to and pass a pre‑employment screening test for illegal drug use.
- Ability to work nights, evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
- Ability to work remotely or at a physical office location. Remote workers must have access to a private and confidential workspace and a hardwired internet connection.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute or higher.
Ensure that intakes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
