We believe in the inherent value and potential of every individual, every mind. Every Mind is hiring a Bilingual Therapeutic Mentor to join the Linkages to Learning team in the School-Based Services department. This role supports 2-4 school communicaties across mid-montgomery county. Therapeutic Mentors will join a behavioral health team composed of Care Managers, Mental Health Therapists, fellow Therapeutic Mentors, and school partners. The Therapeutic Mentor works in tandem with teammates to provide structured one-to-one strength-based support services to children to address daily social-emotional needs.
This includes supporting, coaching, and training children and youth in age-appropriate behaviors including interpersonal communication, problem-solving, social engagement, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and relating appropriately with youth and adults.
The Therapeutic Mentor develops a behavioral health treatment plan with the family and youth where possible.
