Position Summary
Aspiranet is seeking an experienced, trauma-informed leader to serve as a Social Work Program Supervisor within our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP).
The Social Work Program Supervisor provides leadership, consultation, and oversight to Program Social Workers serving youth across multiple residential cottages. This position supports consistent, high-quality social work practice and ensures that assessments, case planning, family engagement, documentation, care coordination, and transition planning meet the individualized needs of each youth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced social services professional who can coach and develop staff, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and balance compassionate practice with accountability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Social Work Supervision and Leadership- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, consultation, and performance feedback to Program Social Workers.
- Support staff in developing sound professional judgment and trauma-informed social work practices.
- Facilitate individual supervision, team meetings, case consultations, and professional development.
- Monitor workloads, assignments, documentation responsibilities, and required case-management activities.
- Promote a positive, culturally responsive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.
- Provide leadership and consultation during urgent situations and participate in the program’s on-call rotation.
- Oversee the completion and ongoing review of assessments, needs and services plans, treatment goals, and transition plans.
- Ensure case plans are individualized, strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and consistent with each youth’s placement goals.
- Support social workers in coordinating services with youth, families, caregivers, county representatives, schools, behavioral health providers, attorneys, and other community partners.
- Promote meaningful youth and family participation in Child and Family Team meetings and other case-planning processes.
- Monitor progress toward placement stability, family engagement, permanency, and successful transition or discharge.
- Provide direct case-management support or caseload coverage when program needs require it.
- Review social work documentation for accuracy, quality, timeliness, and compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
