Description

We areseekinga compassionate, engaging, and organized individual to join our Arkansas CARES program to provide Family Centered Treatment-Recovery services.

Family Centered Treatment-Recovery(FCT-R) offers intensive, home-based, trauma-informed treatment tailored to families affected by substance use. It addresses the underlying causes of substance use and its impact on family stability, attachment, and safety, including the need for out-of- homeplacement. By strengthening family bonds, FCT-R promotes healing and long-term recovery, addressing the unique and complex needs of its target population, particularly those struggling with substance use disorders (SUD).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • FCT-RPractitioner must complete an intensive training program and work with some of the most challenging and complex client systems. FCT Practitionersare required towork with the entire family system and address problematic Areas of Family Functioning as outlined in the FCT Model.
  • FCT-R services include both direct face-to-face and indirect contacts, and collaboration with the systems supporting themembersand their family. However, most contacts are direct, either with the individual or other family members. The service intensityvariesover the course of treatment and is increased or decreased based on the family’sneeds. However, families are receivinga minimum of two multi-hour treatment sessions per week. The intent of the last treatment phase is tovalidatethat the interventions have beeneffectiveand that outcomes are likely to be able to bemaintainedupon service discharge.

FCT-R Staff will also provide the following therapeutic services:

  • FCT-R Screening/Join Up Meeting
  • FCT-R Initial Recovery Assessment
  • Referral/Screening Tool
  • Crisis intake
  • Assessment ofneeds through the comprehensive Family Centered Evaluation Process
  • FCT/FCT-R Interventions
  • Monitoringfamily/parental progress
  • 24/7 crisis response
  • After-care linkage and follow up
  • Development of short and long-term family goals with measurable outcomes.
  • Attend,participate, and facilitate

    Child & Family Team Meetings
  • Attend weekly (more or less depending on the Practitioner’s developmental needs, case complexity, etc.) case review supervision.
  • Provide thorough documentation including treatment plans, FCT fidelity documentation, progress notes, monthlyreportsand assessments.
  • Testify in court as subpoenaed or requested.
  • Administered drug screens
  • The FCT-R Practitioner will provide Family Centered Treatment
    -Recovery to families and guide them through the four phases of treatment in a timely manner.
  • The FCT-R Practitioner will provide FCT-R to fidelity in terms of both meeting the intensity of the service delivery as well as completing the documentation required in each of the four phases
  • The FCT-R Practitioner will complete andmaintainall program fidelity document sin a timely manner.
  • Family Centered Treatment-Recovery is a comprehensive treatment program that requires FCT-R Practitioners to make at a minimumtwomulti-hour face-to-face sessions per week with each family systemwith the exception oftitration at discharge.
  • Each FCT-R Practitioner willmaintaina case load of an average of five to six, FCT-R-referred families.
  • AFCT-R Practitioner works a schedule that is flexible and able to meet the needs of each family they serve. This will often requiremeetingin the evenings and on the weekend.
  • The FCT-R Practitioner is a member of a team that meets weekly. Participation in team meetingsaremandatory andrequirethe FCT Practitioner to serve as facilitator and recorder on a rotating basis.
  • The FCT-R Practitioner will present cases to the team using the MIGS format on a rotating basis.
  • Mayassistwith training as requested by management.
  • May assist/complete other projects/duties as requested by management.
