The Contract Monitor oversees specified Host Homes in the Eastern Iowa service area, responsible for service oversight and communication with interdisciplinary team members.
This position is located in the Eastern Iowa region, covering all of the following counties:
Allamakee, Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Cedar, Chickasaw, Clayton, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, and Winneshiek. The role requires travel to homes and clients within this region, and may also entail travel outside these listed counties to meet service needs and attend meetings. The position allows some work‑from‑home flexibility.
- Acting as the main contact for interdisciplinary team members and for individuals served in the host home program
- Working directly with assigned host homes to provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas which facilitate personal growth and independence
- Facilitating and participating in interviews and evaluations related to the contracting process for independent providers
This is a salaried position that generally follows standard Monday–Friday business hours. However, flexibility may occasionally be required to work outside regular hours, including some evening or weekend hours, depending on business needs. When this occurs, we strive to maintain a flexible schedule to support work–life balance. This role will also participate in an on‑call rotation.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED and five years of related experience
- Associate’s Degree and three years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and one year of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field and one year of related experience. Additionally, years of related experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
