Supportive Living Program - SLP helps adults age 65+ live independently by providing them with housing in an apartment‑style setting that emphasizes privacy and autonomy, while also offering services that support their health and well‑being and providing a little extra assistance with the activities of daily life.

Immediate Supervisor:
Assistant Director

Hours of Work:
Full-time, 35 hours/week.

FLSA Classification: Non‑exempt

Resident Engagement Manager Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.

Resident Engagement Manager Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to address socialization needs as identified in resident service care plans for geriatrics and document residents’ progress; ability to participate in care plans; ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; ability to relate well with seniors; ability to react appropriately in crises; ability to teach daily living skills, social habilitation and related subjects.

Resident Engagement Manager Special Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age. Maintains a valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance. Operates agency vehicles and personal vehicles while driving for agency business in a safe and lawful manner at all times. Maintain First Aid & CPR certification. Must complete required registry clearances and criminal fingerprint background checks. Schedules evening / or weekend hours as necessary and travel to community outings.

Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the facility.

Resident Engagement Manager Leadership Role & Expectations:
Provides leadership and oversight of resident engagement and facility operations. Ensures administrative responsibilities, documentation, assessments, reports, scheduling, audits, and regulatory requirements are completed accurately, timely, and consistently. Maintains organization, accountability, and effective communication while coordinating resident activities, events, transportation, and community partnerships. Serves as a role model for staff by demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, follow‑through, and a strong commitment to resident safety, dignity, engagement, and quality of life.

Resident Engagement Manager Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Assists with initial and redetermination activity assessments of residents for resident service care plan needs.

Answers phones in a polite, helpful manner and directs calls or messages to the appropriate staff or resident.

Schedules and conducts tours of the facility with potential residents and their loved ones.

Scan and file resident accident and incident reports.

Scan and ensure all documentation is in the resident’s EMAR.

Assist with USDA reporting.

Plan and coordinate resident events including seasonal and special events.

Research and coordinate with external vendors and entertainers to schedule on‑site events, outings and performance that enhance the resident's quality of life.
