JOB SUMMARY

The Family Mental Health Clinician provides behavioral health services to individuals experiencing homelessness who are staying at the Family Interim Non‑Congregate Housing (FINCH). Working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, this role delivers direct behavioral health services to a diverse population, including assessments and crisis intervention. The Clinician supports individuals in addressing behavioral health concerns with the goal of achieving housing stability, increasing self‑sufficiency, and improving overall quality of life.


* This is an in‑person position that requires travel between various resource centers and shelters.


* There may be flexibility for occasional remote work with work plan approval from the Clinical Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive behavioral health services to adults experiencing homelessness, with a focus onidentifyingand addressing housing barriers related to mental health and substance use.
  • Identifyindividuals in need of clinical support based on mental illness, cognitive impairment, substance use, and highutilizationof shelter and community resources; collaborate with other teams to build andmaintaina caseload of approximately 30 individuals in shelter.
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients through weekly check‑ins and ongoing supportive contact.
  • Assess each client's barriers to self‑sufficiency and collaborate with them to develop problem‑solving skills.
