Job Description & How to Apply Below

With your generosity, we fund youth empowerment programs that provide underserved youth and young people with a safe place to call home, a family that loves them, a feeling of community, and opportunities to learn, build self-esteem, and have fun.

Help Believe in Me build responsible partnerships with social-service organizations supporting underserved youth, young people, and families.

We are seeking a volunteer Social-Service Partnership Liaison to research providers, conduct approved outreach, coordinate collaboration, and maintain accurate resource and referral-process information.

Responsibilities
  • Research qualified organizations addressing food, housing, benefits, family support, employment, legal aid, transportation, disability, and other needs
  • Identify appropriate partnership and program contacts
  • Conduct approved introductions and discovery conversations
  • Document services, populations, costs, eligibility language, geography, accessibility, capacity, and verification dates
  • Coordinate onboarding, resource sharing, workshops, referral-process clarification, and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate relationship and directory records
  • Route participant‑specific, crisis, eligibility, legal, and privacy questions to authorized professionals
  • Avoid case management, eligibility decisions, provider endorsement, or guaranteed referrals
Qualifications
  • Experience in social services, case coordination, nonprofit partnerships, public benefits, community outreach, family support, or human services
  • Strong research, professional communication, discretion, and documentation
  • Understanding of privacy, mandated‑reporting, crisis, legal, and referral boundaries
  • Ability to verify public information without representing Believe in Me as a service provider
  • Relevant credentials are welcome but do not expand role authorization

This is a remote, recurring role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–6 hours per month.
