Human Services Analyst Supervisor; DHS

This position guides data infrastructure, reporting practices, and system oversight to support high-quality behavioral health programs. It blends supervisory responsibilities with complex analytical and system coordination tasks. As a Human Services Analyst Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Regulation Expertise:Maintain knowledge of federal and state Medicaid requirements to support accurate system reporting and data integrity
• Data Oversight:Direct monitoring of encounter data and system performance to ensure accuracy and compliance with program needs
• Workgroup Leadership:Lead participation in internal and external initiatives to align data systems with policy and operational requirements
• Subject Matter Guidance:Provide direction to partners on encounter data use related to eligibility and exemption determinations
• System Review:Evaluate data systems during monitoring and readiness reviews to ensure compliance with federal standards and program components
• Staff Leadership:Supervise encounter data staff, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure training

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
  - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in person to 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

• One year as a Human Services Analyst (commonwealth title);
  or
• Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree;
  or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
