About the RoleThis position will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to children, adolescents, and adults.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up appointments
- Monitor treatment effectiveness, side effects, and overall clinical progress
- Collaborate with therapists, families, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- 1099 independent contractor with possibility to grow into a full-time W-2 position
- 50/50 revenue split
- Flexible schedule
- Established group practice with administrative, billing, intake, and referral support
- Opportunity to build a consistent caseload across children, adolescents, and adults
- Hybrid work from home Telehealth and in office in Shelton medical building
- Active Connecticut APRN or PA license
- Current prescribing authority and DEA registration, as applicable
- Experience providing psychiatric medication management
- Experience treating children and adolescents strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and collaborative approach to care
- 3 years or more prescribing experience
