Industry: eCommerce We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join our team! The project operates in the eCommerce sector and is based in Chicago, IL. It provides digital marketing, trade-in, and AI-powered solutions that help automotive businesses optimize sales and customer engagement.

Role Responsibilities

• Work on resolving a backlog of SEO-related tickets to improve site performance and visibility.
• Implement and optimize front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance components with Elixir / Phoenix framework.
• Ensure code quality, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality front-end solutions aligned with SEO best practices.
• Debug, test, and maintain features to ensure site reliability and performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.
• Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem-solving processes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack (Docker, Postgres, Open Search, sockets, Erlang/Elixir, Phoenix) framework.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and how front-end code impacts search optimization.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
