Senior Frontend Engineer - FCM

Fin Query's headquarters is located in Atlanta, GA.

• Developing and maintaining complex and responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js
• Making meaningful and regular contributions to the company’s Web Component library to ensure consistency and efficiency across our applications.
• Collaborating with product designers and other engineers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality user interfaces.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using the latest HTML, JavaScript, and CSS standards.
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Developing, troubleshooting, and debugging features/issues across different browsers.
• Monitoring metrics and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve existing systems and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with demonstrable expertise in browser-based applications.
• Passion for web standards and creating user-friendly experiences.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/Type Script and extensive experience with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, including semantic markup and responsive design principles.
• Ability to write and maintain meaningful unit tests that support feature development using frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and best practices, such as atomic commits and meaningful commit messages.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to break down complex tasks and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical users.
• Experience using modern AI coding tools (e.g. Git Hub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Experience with Web Components and other browser-native APIs is a plus.
• Experience with Monorepos and Git Hub NPM Package Repository is a plus.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with .NET framework and backend technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is a plus.
• Proficient with macOS is a plus.
