- Software Engineer (Remote)

North Point Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a fully remote role supporting commercial and enterprise clients across the United States. You will help design, build, and scale modern software systems while working with a high-performance, fast-moving team.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems across frontend, backend, or full-stack components
• Lead or contribute to complex technical projects from concept to production
• Write clean, testable, efficient code using modern frameworks and languages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering leadership
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and long-term technical planning
• Improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across internal platforms and customer-facing applications
• Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of engineering excellence

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following:
• JavaScript/Type Script, React, Angular, HTML/CSS
• C++, C#, .NET Core
• Node.js, Go, Python, or similar backend languages
• Experience building or maintaining cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Agile development (Scrum or Kanban)
  Familiarity with Dev Ops practices: CI/CD pipelines, environment provisioning, monitoring
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience building distributed or highly scalable backend systems
• Experience owning features or systems end-to-end in production
• Background working in fast-paced, startup-style environments
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, or serverless technologies
• Experience in fintech, insurance, SaaS, or enterprise software
