JOB SUMMARY

As a PHP Web Developer with 3-5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining websites and interactive experiences that support the missions of our nonprofit clients. You will collaborate closely with our team of designers, developers, and project managers to create custom solutions tailored to each organization's unique needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain PHP-based websites + applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into technical specifications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Implement best practices for accessibility, security, scalability, and performance
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
• 3-5 years of experience in PHP development/LAMP stack
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, Sass, CSS, and Java Script
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Availability to work between 9a - 5p EST

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with eCommerce gateways such as Stripe and
• Familiarity working with APIs and 3rd party integrations
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
