As a programmer at Atlas Creative, you'll be more than just a coder; you'll be a pivotal player in shaping immersive experiences and games for one of the largest games/platforms in the world. Your contributions will breathe life into our gameplay, creating fun and innovative experiences for millions.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Develop and optimize gameplay systems using Roblox Studio.
- Collaborate closely with our development team to bring creative ideas to fruition.
- Debug, test, and iterate on gameplay mechanics to ensure fluidity and player satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments and trends in Roblox and other UGC platforms to propose and implement innovative gameplay features.
- Regularly participate in code reviews, seeking continual improvement and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Address and resolve gameplay and engine issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Actively contribute to our team's pursuit of creating impactful "moments" for our players.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Lua or similar languages such as C++, Python, and C#.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration across teams.
- Proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively as a team.
- Strong passion for game development and user-generated content.
- Experience with game engines like Roblox Studio, Unreal Engine and/or Unity.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, system architectures, and design patterns.
- Experience with version control tools like Perforce.
