Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer with a strong understanding of details within the Mail Presorting area to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer at Anchor Software, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced software solutions for mail presorting applications. Utilizing your expertise in C++, .NET, WPF, and C, you will lead a team of developers to create efficient and innovative solutions that streamline the presorting process and enhance the overall efficiency of our mailing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of software solutions for mail presorting applications using C++, .NET, WPF, and
  
  C.
• Maintain and grow knowledge of the USPS Regulations regarding mailing rules.
• Understand the needs of the customers and how to leverage the software to perform as needed.
• A good understanding of PAVE, Mail.
  
  Dat, Rate Classifications and other industry tools or processes is a definite plus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Optimize performance and scalability of existing software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mail presorting algorithms and functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mail presorting applications.
• Proficiency in C++, .NET, WPF, and C programming languages.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
