React Native Chat Developer

Description Overview:
We are looking for a talented React Native Engineer to help build a world-class conversational AI interface that functions seamlessly across web and mobile. This role will be pivotal in creating the foundation for an action-oriented benefits assistant, combining strong UI engineering, real-time interaction design, and a product mindset focused on fast iteration and user impact. You’ll collaborate closely with a Principal Engineer and UX Engineer in a fast-paced, R&D-style environment that values autonomy, creativity, and rapid learning.

• Develop and scale a cross-platform conversational AI interface that delivers seamless user experiences on web and mobile.
• Establish a reliable, extensible architecture for real-time chat interactions and dynamic UI behaviors.

• Design and build complex, performant applications for web and mobile using React Native.
• Develop real-time user interfaces with Web Socket or streaming responses, including typing indicators and smooth animations.
• Implement chat and messaging interfaces similar to Whats App or Slack.
• Manage complex conversation state, including offline support and session handling.
• Build modular, reusable UI components and widget systems.
• Work end-to-end across the stack to integrate with Python/FastAPI backends and Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Collaborate daily with engineering and design teams to deliver iterative, high-quality features.

• React Native expertise – building cross-platform applications from a single codebase.
• Real-time UI development – experience with Web Sockets, event streams, and smooth animations.
• Proven experience in chat/messaging interface design (Slack, Whats App-style UIs).
• Strong state management skills for complex, interactive applications.
• Experience with component-based architecture and reusable design systems.

• Experience with in-app widgets/mini-apps
