Junior PHP​/Laravel Backend Developer

Our company is hiring an experienced PHP Backend Laravel Developer who will help us build software using Laravel Framework within PHP programming language. As part of Out Kos you will be able to set your own hours and even work remote.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field

Development experience with PHP and Laravel 5.x to 7.x

Production experience with MySQL and Postgre

SQL. You've designed database schemas with an emphasis on scalability and performance

Experience working with large amounts of frequently updated data, and designing efficient schemas, is a plus

Working knowledge of Git and Git Hub

Basic understanding of Linux systems, is a plus. You're comfortable using the command line to troubleshoot issues on a server.

Experience with unit testing, ability to write testable code

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Able to work remotely, independently, and efficiently to meet deadlines

Author new back-end systems ensuring optimum performance, scalability and maintainability

Build functionality with reusable code and authors new libraries with a focus on future reusability

Build robust, scalable software in PHP, MySQL, and Laravel frameworks

Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews

Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
