Senior Software Engineer

RVO Health is seeking a skilled and experienced software engineering lead with deep expertise in full-stack development, including C#, .NET Core, React

JS, and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise‑scale applications. Proficiency in AWS Cloud services and cloud‑native development patterns is required.

• Lead design and development efforts and serve as technical expert and team mentor.
• Guide engineers through complex problem‑solving and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Build and scale high‑performing teams: interview, mentor, and foster collaboration.
• Manage collaboration with offshore teams to ensure code quality and delivery.
• Drive improvements in system architecture, performance, reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
• Champion application security, enforce coding standards, and promote secure coding.
• Advocate for developer experience, CI/CD automation, and operational efficiency.
• Champion Agile practices and foster iterative delivery, feedback, and adaptive planning.

RVO Health operates on an in‑office schedule. Employees are expected to work at our Denver office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Remote work on Mondays and Fridays is welcomed.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–5+ years of software engineering with a focus on consumer‑facing applications.
• 1+ year of mentoring junior engineers.

• Proficiency in .NET Core and C#
• Node.js or Python experience is a value add

• Experience with React.js, Type Script, Angular, or similar
• State management:
  Redux or Context API
• HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL
• Experience with Elasticsearch/Open Search, Apache Solr, or Redis

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud and Git Hub‑based CI/CD pipelines

• Starting Salary: $118,650 – $155,000 *
