Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 7+ years of experience as a full stack software developer
- 2+ years experience as a team lead / lead architect
- Proficient with web application and API development
- TS/SCI Clearance, DoD / Defense Industry Experience
- Authorized to work in the United States and no visa sponsorship required.
- Experience architecting systems for real‑time data, high‑performance visualization, and/or distributed computing.
- Familiarity with containerized deployment, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud/on‑prem architectures.
- Consulting experience
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, reusability, and user‑centric workflows in enterprise environments.
This role is for a sophisticated Lead Software Architect / Application Lead who is experienced in leading architecture and system designs for complex web applications and also still loves to code. This job will be 40% on site in Greenville Texas at a cleared TS/SCI facility leading integration efforts and 60% remote work from home. The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for writing exceptional code and building world‑class software products that serve millions of users.
They will lead development teams in producing clean, high‑quality, high‑performance, and maintainable code, while also contributing hands‑on to the coding process. Daily responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting software applications, integrating databases, building interfaces, and implementing new functionality enhancements. The role also involves facilitating planning meetings, coordinating across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards, and supporting the testing and deployment of new features.
Additionally, the architect will play a key role in conducting code reviews to uphold coding standards and mentor team members in best practices.
