Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Secrets Discovery (Remote)

Abb Vie is looking for a talented senior cyber security engineer to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team.

This role focuses on designing, building, and automating new components of our secrets discovery program.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and automate components of the secrets discovery program.
• Leverage software development, cyber intelligence/response, and data analytics to discover, analyze, validate, and elevate exposed secrets both internally and externally.
• Develop custom applications to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle.
• Collaborate on multiple cyber intelligence initiatives and partner with stakeholders across security and technology teams to provide accurate and timely intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Hands‑on experience identifying internal and external secrets using discovery tooling.
• Development experience with Python, Go, Elixir, or similar languages.
• Experience invoking and building custom APIs.
• Curating intelligence sources and leveraging open‑source intelligence.
• Analysis of large data sets and using data to support decision‑making.
• Understanding of the anatomy of cyber‑security incidents.
• Current methodologies supporting secrets discovery.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years of experience.
• Experience building and implementing production‑like applications.
• Solid understanding of authentication and network/application security principles.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Base pay range: $106,500 – $202,500 per year.
