The Online Ordering Mobile Apps team at Door Dash is responsible for building and scaling the white labeled 1P mobile apps for our restaurant merchants. From onboarding restaurant partners to delivering high-quality ordering features

Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of mobile and full stack engineers, creating clear career paths and development opportunities. - Drive Technical Vision

Partner with technical leads on iOS, Android, and backend to define and execute the team’s architectural roadmap for the team. - Deliver Impactful Features

Oversee development of core product experiences, including onboarding automation, user sessions, login mechanisms, push notifications, menu optimization, guest checkout, and reorder experiences. - Collaborate Across Functions

Work closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful, user-first solutions. - Operational Excellence

Establish best practices in development processes, testing, release management, and monitoring. - Strategic Ownership

We're excited about you because you have…
- BS, MS, or PhD. in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in people management leading full-stack teams (backend, web, & mobile) of 8+ engineers
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment
- Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization
- Hands-on leadership and strong product intuition
- Humility - willing to get into the details and open to feedback

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
