Full Stack Engineer; Remote - Nashville, TN

Uniguest is growing and looking for a skilled and passionate full stack developer to help shape the future of the industry. As a Software Engineer at Uniguest, you’ll join an experienced and dedicated team working on everything from design to implementation and maintenance of our products. You’ll be an important part of an energetic and close-knit group, with exciting and varied tasks.

Uniguest develops and operates distributed cloud-based systems for managing and controlling smart TVs, mobile devices, streaming solutions, and digital signage for industries such as healthcare, office, and hospitality. Uniguest is currently the world’s third-largest provider of digital signage solutions. The headquarters is located in Antioch, TN very close to Nashville. A successful candidate will be independent and responsible, thriving in a fast-paced environment;

as well as a strong team player who contributes to collective success. This position is open to remote candidates, though we have a preference for applicants located in or near Nashville, TN to support occasional in-person collaboration.

• Develop client applications using Type Script for various screen types;
• Support and solve issues with device-specific issues for embedded TV and display operating systems such as Tizen, webOS and Linux based systems;
• Build scalable backend solutions using Kotlin and NodeJS;
  Focus on security and authentication in microservice environments;
• Handle message exchange and ensure data consistency using Kafka;
• Collect and process large datasets (Big Data);

  SQL databases for large volumes;
  Implement CI/CD solutions;
• Design and maintain infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Understanding and experience with Linux-based operating systems;
• Experience with embedded systems desirable;

• Minimum 5 years of development experience, preferably with the mentioned tools/frameworks;
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
