Job DescriptionWe are looking for a seasoned engineering leader to revolutionize the way our development teams build software by integrating LLMs and AI-driven tools across the entire development lifecycle. This role involves leading teams that design and deliver AI-powered products and infrastructure, leveraging open-source models and Agentic AI frameworks, while championing a Spec-Driven Development approach.
What You’ll Do- Lead engineering teams in adopting AI-native development practices while maintaining code quality, security, and architectural standards
- Build and scale internal AI infrastructure (LLM platforms, development assistants, code generation pipelines) that accelerates team velocity
- Champion spec-driven development methodologies across the organization
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to identify opportunities where LLMs can enhance both development processes and product capabilities
- Establish best practices, governance, and quality standards for AI-augmented development workflows
- Mentor technical leads on effective prompt engineering, model selection, and integration patterns
- Measure and communicate the impact of AI tooling on team productivity and product delivery
- Education Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required or Acceptable Job-Related
Experience:
15+ years software development experience with 7+ years in engineering leadership roles
- Hands‑on experience deploying and managing LLM infrastructure (open‑source models, private deployments, API integrations)
- Proven track record of improving team productivity through process innovation and tooling
- Deep understanding of software architecture, code quality practices, and SDLC
- Experience with ML/AI concepts and practical application in development workflows
- Strong technical communication skills to bridge AI capabilities with engineering practices
- Track record of delivering products faster without compromising quality
- Experience with ollama, Lang Chain, or similar LLM frameworks
- Background in ML model evaluation and fine‑tuning
- Experience establishing spec‑driven development practices
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
