The Software Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure Kubernetes-based platforms, and DB2-integrated systems. This role independently delivers application features, resolves complex support issues, and contributes to system reliability and performance.

This mid-Level Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure Kubernetes-based platforms, and DB2-integrated systems. This role independently delivers application features, resolves complex support issues, and contributes to system reliability and performance.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, develop, and maintain **.NET web applications
** and backend services.
* Support applications deployed in
** Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
** environments.
* Develop and maintain integrations with
** DB2 databases**, including stored procedures and data access layers.
* Diagnoses and resolve medium to high complexity production issues.
* Participate in application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
* Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
* Contribute to application performance tuning and optimization.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, Dev Ops, and database teams.
* Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
* Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and operational standards.
* Support on-call or after-hours rotations as required.
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3–6 years of professional application development experience.
* Experience supporting production applications in an enterprise environment.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong experience with:
* C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs)
* RESTful services and integration patterns.
* SQL and relational database design.
* Entity Framework or any other ORM.
* NextJS or equivalent experience in similar frameworks.

Working knowledge of:
* Azure services. (App Services, AKS, monitoring tools)
* Kubernetes concepts and containerized deployments.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with DB2 in production environments
* Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes concepts.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines. (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions)
* Competency with React, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript.
* Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
* Experience working in Agile or Dev Ops teams.
* Cloud certifications. (Azure Developer Associate or similar)
