BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Software Production Team. Need of testing assistance on our Team. Possibility of conversion if a value to the team and a goal if available. Ideal with a BS degree in Computer science/engineering with some amount of experience that will satisfy an entry level position. Would consider someone directly out of school and for the proper candidate still in school coming close to obtaining degree.
  
  40 hours a week amongst the week giving flexibility for students. Ideally someone local enough to office able to spend some time in the office, especially at the beginning in learning and training phase and available for important group meetings periodically. Team members are also international. No travel involved. Work based on needs of the team. Not just working on 1 task.
  
  There is time management involved as priority change and shifts. Needs flexibility in a work environment. Basic of knowledge of programming, C# is an absolute advantage. Baseline skill set so we can train our own means. Testing Tools are created in house and are not commercially available. Based on C#. They need methodology and can train on the tools, but having experience with Tools is a big plus.
  
  Automation Portal- the primary tool the Customers use to program debug commission PLC devices in a factory setting. Valued in a tester is the ability to have an open mind in being able to An Independent worker that is curious and has personal drive to learn and get things done after they become productive and knowledgeable in their role. Ability to work with team and have personal skills.
  
  Interviews
  - Initial Teams phone interviews. Then schedule a panel interview via TEAMS including technical experts and testing experts. Round robin format. Ready to make an offer and have person start ASAP.

Job Description:

Test Professional 1 The job will be 40 hour per week contract position reporting to office located in Johnson City, TN. On-site work is preferred, but partial remote or completely remote work can be discussed, based on the candidate s qualifications. A BS in computer science or computer engineering is preferred. However, we are willing to consider active students pursuing a degree in these fields.

Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience

Programming experience in C# is required. Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Proficient in C# programming language and a willingness to learn more. Self-motivated and results-oriented

Description / Position Overview

Primary responsibility will be to implement and test solutions on a Windows-based C# desktop application. Agile/Lean software development process. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment together with other software developers and testers, both locally and internationally. Work assignments will be directed based on the current needs of the team and project.
