Full-time, 40 hrs/week (8 AM – 5 PM); overtime available Rate: $48/hr W2 | $57/hr C2C / 1099

The State of Mississippi MDEK
12 team is seeking experienced .NET Developers to join our 100% remote development team. You will design, create, and maintain application code while contributing to a modern, full-stack environment using .NET Core 8, React, and Azure Dev Ops. This is an exciting opportunity to work on K-12 education systems, enhancing student information systems and supporting statewide reporting initiatives.

• Design, develop, update, and maintain application code
• Commit code, create pull requests, and manage branching using Git/Git Hub
• Write and execute unit tests; debug and troubleshoot applications
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ensure code and applications meet design, documentation, and UI/UX standards

• Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, React, Angular
• Back-end: C#, Java, Python
• Full Stack Development:
  Multi-tier development experience
• Databases: SQL Server, COSMOS DB or similar
• Tools:
  Azure Dev Ops, Git/Git Hub
• Application Design & UI/UX:
  Familiarity with design and documentation best practices
• Agile Methodology:
  Scrum experience
• React Application Development and .NET Core 8 proficiency

• Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) and K-12 data/reporting systems
