Job Description & How to Apply Below
Here at Ailytics, we’re building AI solutions to envision a safer world. By combining computer vision and predictive analytics, we enable organizations to proactively identify risks, optimize processes, and ultimately save lives. Our platforms are currently deployed all over the world, covering more than 300 million square meters!
We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to work closely with the Product Development and Engineering teams to build, test, and validate features for our video analytics software platform.
This role will play a key part in ensuring high product quality by contributing across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)—from requirements and design to automation, testing, and release.
What You Will Be Doing- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand feature requirements and quality expectations.
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing product features.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and API testing for the video analytics platform.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Validate backend services, APIs, and database interactions to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
- Participate actively in design reviews, sprint planning, and release cycles, providing early feedback on quality risks.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve them.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality standards across the product.
- Strong experience in software testing across multiple phases of the SDLC.
- Hands‑on experience with Python for test automation or test tooling.
- Experience testing APIs (REST) and validating responses, performance, and edge cases.
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL/No
SQL). - Experience building and maintaining test automation for backend and/or platform services.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and take ownership of quality outcomes.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, Dev Ops).
- Experience testing video analytics, computer vision, or AI/ML‑based systems is not a must have, but would be a nice bonus.
- Similarly, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build workflows would also be a nice to have.
- This is an opportunity to create lasting impact and explore the intersection of AI and safety.
- We’re a start‑up that’s still in its early stages. If you’re looking for an environment where you can really make an impact, this is it.
- We value strong standards, high transparency, and low ego. Let us know if this sounds like you.
