Responsibilities- Collaborate with HMI developers to build tooling and help develop software for both in the simulation and in development vehicles.
- Work with system engineers to architect flexible software implementations.
- Coordinate with autonomous-driving engineering teams to negotiate APIs and integrate vehicle information into interfaces.
- Engage with front end developers to create software interfaces for new hardware.
- Develop functional user interfaces, deriving requirements from designers, regulation, and engineering.
- M.S. in Computer Science and 5 years of industry experience, or at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate strong skills in C#, C++, Java, Python, and development tools in Linux.
- Developed graphical interface and 3D simulation using Unity/OpenGL/Qt.
- Strong understanding of networking, network protocols, and Linux server administration.
- Worked in automotive HMI SW development
- Experience in working and processing raw sensor data (i.e. LIDAR, Radar, Camera, CAN, etc.) in an automotive context
- Skilled in automotive communication busses (i.e. CAN, LIN, others.)
- Good software practices that produce maintainable code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style conformity, and code review.
- Operated in Agile environments and applied Agile methodologies effectively.
