We are seeking a Software Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation. The Software Engineer plays a key role in administrating as well as extending integrations with Azure Dev Ops and Confluence.

• Develop and maintain the front‑end interface of applications, ensuring user experience and interface design fidelity.
• Implement server‑side logic and database management to handle the back‑end functionality of web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to plan, design, and develop dynamic, high‑quality web applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack, including both client‑side and server‑side code.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and documentation for both front‑end and back‑end code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed.
• Have good emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with others.
• Actively participate in Design Discussions, and Demos.

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
• Experience with Java 17 or newer along with Spring or Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with React and other UI related technologies like Typescript, CSS etc.
• Experience with relational databases like SQL Server and non‑relational databases like Redis.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful services.
• Experience building applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with streaming services like Kafka.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven developer productivity tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Agents, MCP servers).
• Bonus if you have experience working with Azure Dev Ops.

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
